Log9 Materials was an innovative nanotechnology company pioneering advancements in li-ion cell and battery pack manufacturing.
Working on Aluminum Fuel Cells (AFC) was one of the most exciting chapters of my career – a novel energy generation technology, and leading a team of three engineers through building its electronics and electrical systems.
I owned the specification + architecture definition and PCB design review process for three critical subsystems: the fuel cell management system (FMS), the power management system (PMS), and the slave FMS. Beyond hardware, I wrote the firmware on STM32 that bought these systems to life and made them work together. Later I led the integration and testing work under real life conditions.
The work translated into six patent filings across fuel-cell management, power management, and fuel-cell system design.
What I’m most proud of from this chapter is that we built a new technology to generate energy for generating energy right from the chemistry, mechanical systems, electronic control systems everything was built by a small dedicated team from the bottom up.
