I’m Chirag, an embedded systems engineer with over 7 years of experience taking electronics from concept to production. I’m currently a Hardware Design Engineer at Aereo, designing drone electronics including battery management systems, DC-DC converters and autopilot boards.
Before this, I spent three years at Log9 Materials (later acquired by Jupiter Electric Mobility), where I worked on fuel cell electronics/electrical systems and battery management systems. I’m a co-inventor on six patents filed during that time, spanning fuel-cell management, power management, and system design.
In Jupiter Electric Mobility, I led the electrical systems design and integration for a 720kWh battery energy storage project.
Earlier in my career at Sagar Defense Engineering, I led the electronics and firmware development of SkyDock, India’s first drone-in-a-box solution, now a granted patent across the US, Europe, Australia, Denmark, and Finland.
My work spans PCB design, firmware development, and power electronics, with a focus on turning early-stage concepts into actual hardware products. I’m currently open to new opportunities internationally.
